Modern medical research is increasingly highlighting the gut-brain axis, the importance of the gut biome, the impact of unprocessed emotions on gut health and the combined implications of these on the autonomous nervous system.

It is this indeed of great significance that both Yoga and Āyurveda have stressed on the importance of Samāgni as an indicator of holistic wellness at all dimensions. Āyurveda interventions prioritize the stabilization and efficient functioning of the Jaṭharāgni. Yoga practices, be it Āsana, Prāṇāyāma, Bhāvana or Dhyānam also centre the PrāṇaApāna dialogue mediated by the Jaṭharāgni.

KYM is delighted to partner with I-AIM to bring to you a hybrid programme that commences with an online study of the gut-brain axis as seen through the lens of Yoga and Āyurveda, culminating in an in person retreat at I-AIM Bengaluru, in which participants experience the first hand the integration of Āyurvedic treatments and Yoga practices. Please note that the details of the in-person retreat will be shared separately and payment for the same will also have to be made separately.

The registered participants of the Samāgni programme will also get limited access to view the class recordings. Schedule of such uploads will be shared later.
