Increasingly, as the onus of education shifts to achieving success at all costs, what get left behind in this race to be the best are fundamental values and value systems. Traditional Indian knowledge systems, especially Yoga offer us a way to take another look at what drives us and how we can develop the mind to its highest potential, while also being rooted in dharma. The Yoga pathway shows how to make the right choice over the preferable one, to establish a sustainable balance between the outer and inner spaces.
This two-month mentoring programme is specifically designed for teenagers between 14 and 18 years of age, who are interested in understanding how the mind works and how techniques of Yoga such as Āsana, Prāṇāyāma and Dhyāna contribute to enhancing concentration, enabling increased clarity and better efficiency in all actions, while also inculcating a value-based approach to life. This programme weaves together philosophical insights from the Vedic and Yogic traditions (Upaniṣad-s, Yogasūtra, Bhagavadgītā) with guided practices of Yoga.
