One of Ādi Śaṅkara’s timeless compositions, Bhaja Govindam, also known as Mohamudgaram, “The Dispeller of Delusion,” crystallises the essence of the teachings of Yoga and Vedānta on the nature of the Self, the ephemeral nature of life and the importance of aligning to a higher purpose transcending mundane cycles of birth and death.
While at surface a seemingly simple composition, the teachings of the Bhaja Govindam are as profound as they are uplifting. The words and their message are timeless and offer much insight to reflect upon. Śrī T Krishnamacharya’s Yogāñjalisāram is also inspired by the content and the metre of Bhaja Govindam.
In this webinar, senior KYM faculty, Mr. V Srinivasan will discuss the Bhaja Govindam, cross referencing both the Yogasūtra and Krishnamacharya’s Yogāñjalisāram.
Video recordings will be made available for a limited period to all registered participants, the schedule of which will be shared.
