MITRA - Reaching Out through Yoga

As yoga gains popularity as a holistic system of health and healing, millions of people across the world are taking it up seriously. And yet, there are so many people who will benefit from yoga but who have neither the means or the access to yoga lessons. We at KYM believe that if a difference can be made in the lives of those who genuinely are in need of support, if an attempt can be made to empower, if something can be done to enhance a person's quality of life, then beyond any doubt, yoga holds the key. KYM-Mitra is an outreach program that touches the lives of the socially and economically underprivileged and the differently-abled by giving them the gift of yoga.
