KYM-ASSIST
is a program that has been conceived by the Krishnamacharya Yoga
Mandiram to help deserving students pursue their interests in yoga.
Through this program, a limited number of Scholarships or Deferral
of Payment of course fee options will be made available to students
based on an assessment of individual merit and genuine need. This
scheme will assist deserving students who wish to participate in
our international programs conducted in India. The scheme will also
be extended to Indian students who wish to participate in such programs.
With the launching of this scheme we hope that monetary considerations
will no longer act as deterrents to those who aspire to learn yoga.
We believe that KYM-ASSIST will make more meaningful KYM's philosophy
of making the teachings of Krishnamacharya accessible to all.
Over
the years, we have been approached by many people who are genuinely
interested in pursuing yoga and who wish to dedicate themselves
to yoga. Many have informed us that while they would love to participate
in our international courses, their aspirations are beyond their
means.
