International Vedic Chant Seminar 2012

Following the enthusiastic response of participants to the advanced International Vedic chant seminar conducted by KYM in 2011, we now announce the next edition of this International Vedic Chant Seminar to be held in late 2012. The dates for this seminar are

29th October – 9th November 2012 (Monday - Friday)

The chants to be covered include:
Sraddha Suktam
Medha Suktam
Pavamana Suktam
Sarasvati Prarthana (Krama, Jata and Ghana)
Sarvaguna Sampanna Mantrah (karoti rupani - Krama, Jata and Ghana)

All chants will be taught with an explanation of their global meanings.

The programme for each day will comprise 5 sessions including three sessions of chanting (adhyayanam), one session covering the meanings of chants taught and a meditative practice. There will be two short breaks, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, when participants will be served tea and biscuits.

KYM certified Vedic Chant Teachers may use this programme to accumulate CEU hours.

Prior knowledge of chanting, while helpful, is not essential for participation in this programme.
This is a non-residential programme. Participants will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation, conveyance and food.
